Splash — L’arte della caduta (The Art of Falling)

The photographer / Sandro Giordano
Remmidemmi
Italian photographer Sandro Giordano, known as Remmidemmi, is the creator of the photo series In Extremis (Bodies with No Regret). In his photographs, an accidental fall becomes a metaphor for our attachment to material possessions.
Every image starts from a meticulously built set: objects, lighting and characters all come together in a grotesque, ironic scene.

The art of
falling
The subject has already fallen.
The story lies in the objects left behind.
The exhibition’s identity starts from this moment: translating Giordano’s photographic world into a visual system of cuts, fragments and contrasts.

Picking up
the pieces
Jagged lines and cuts carry the aftermath of the fall into the logo. As in the photographs, the fragments tell a story that the viewer is invited to piece back together.
